Parent Testimony

Having Sandra come to our house to observe the dynamics going on in our family was pivotal for us. I have a lot of head-knowledge of what I should be doing in my parenting practices but when it came down to specific challenges in my family and the dynamics of personalities, I felt like I didn't always know how to apply the general principles. Sandra was able to come over and observe the language and the relationships between me and my children and give more specific guidance. As an outsider looking in, she was able to notice things in my language and my tone that I wasn't able to recognize on my own. During our session, I was nervous for her to see the struggles in our family in such an up-close and vulnerable way, but Sandra is so unobtrusive and non-judgmental. I never felt like she was criticizing me and my ways; her feedback was honest, helpful and impartial. To cut past the multitude of parenting books and opinions and to be able to have personalized parenting support is such a blessing!
